About Us
Preserving Mohave County History
The Mohave County Historical Society has been dedicated to collecting, preserving, and sharing the history of Mohave County since 1961.
Our Story
Since 1961
The Mohave County Historical Society was founded in 1961 by a group of dedicated community members who recognized the importance of preserving the rich history of Northwest Arizona.
Over the decades, the Society has grown from a small volunteer organization into a multi-site institution operating four distinct museums and a research library in Kingman, Arizona.
Today, the Society stewards thousands of artifacts, photographs, documents, and oral histories that tell the story of Mohave County's people, landscapes, and communities.
